ShoeShoe Pilot for Schools and Daycares

ShoeShoe pilots are open to elementary schools and daycares/preschools in the United States. Our goal is to expose families to ShoeShoes and collect feedback that will help us improve our product. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and you can expect a response within 2 weeks of your submittal. Applications do not guarantee acceptance into the pilot program.

Here is some news coverage about our pilot program: 12-year-old starts pilot program for invention in BVSD classroom

How it works:

  • We provide free ShoeShoes to one classrooms (kids can pick their favorite model and keep the pair after the pilot is over).
  • We provide you with an email template to send to your families explaining the pilot and requesting media releases that allows us to use photo material for marketing purposes (not all families have to agree to media release for their kids).
  • We discuss and agree on logistics (e.g., optimal storage solution to keep ShoeShoes neatly organized when they are not in use)
  • Kids wear ShoeShoes for one month when they are in the classroom (ShoeShoes are not worn outside of the classroom).
  • Teacher agrees to be in regular communication with ShoeShoe team during the pilot and share information with participating families. Teacher also agrees to take photos of ShoeShoes in use and share information about the ShoeShoe pilot for other school staff, as appropriate.
  • At the end of the pilot, we ask that teachers, parents, and kids complete a brief survey.
  • If either party decides at any point that the pilot is not working out, we can adjust or call it off at any time.
